Jennifer Kay Hudson, age 49, of Brady, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her residence in Brady. Jennifer was born October 19, 1972 in El Paso, Texas to Levon Ray Cruce and Jody (Stoffer) Cruce. She graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock and attended South Plains College in Levelland.
She married Michael Hudson on August 14, 1993 in Levelland, Texas. Jennifer and Mike moved to the Brady area in 2005 from Flatonia, Texas. Jennifer was the Senior Utility Clerk for the City of Brady for over 12 years. She was into social media and was a very social person. She served on the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Keep Brady Beautiful organization.
Jennifer was always eager to give back to others and enjoyed quality time with family & friends. She loved her family and friends and doted on her nephews, nieces, and work family. She was passionate about the Cancer Retreat, the Living Donor Program, Cystic Fibrosis Awareness and keeping her son, Joshua, healthy. She was an avid Amazon shopper, loved Hello Kitty collectibles, and was a member of the Redeemer Church in Brady.
Funeral services for Jennifer Kay Hudson will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Redeemer Church, 801 San Angelo Highway, Brady, Texas with Reverend Paden Behrens officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, prior to the services at Redeemer Church.

Jennifer is survived by her parents Ray and Jody Cruce of Elm Creek Lake Ivey, Texas; loving husband Michael Hudson of Brady, Texas; son Joshua Hudson and girlfriend Audrey Kirkland of San Angelo, Texas; daughter Mikaela Hudson Self and husband David of Brady, Texas; brothers Jason Cruce and wife Heather of Lubbock, Texas and Justin Cruce and wife Angela of Lubbock, Texas; sister Jelaine Bauman and husband Adam of Appleton, Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.
