Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt (R) pledged his support on Friday to assist President-elect Trump in deporting immigrants who entered the country illegally in his state. Speaking on Fox News, Governor Stitt expressed his commitment to enforcing immigration laws.

Governor Stitt has already taken action by appointing the state’s commissioner of public safety to lead these efforts. The initiative will begin within the prison systems, as state records indicate that there are over 500 prisoners who are immigrants residing in the country without permission. This information comes directly from the governor’s office.

“We are determined to be fully prepared on the very first day of President Trump’s term in office. I assigned our commissioner of public safety to take charge and I instructed him, ‘Anyone who is in our prisons illegally, violating our laws, poses a threat to public safety,'” he stated during the interview.

“We have a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of Oklahoma. Our primary goal is to be proactive in safeguarding our citizens by taking necessary measures to prevent incidents similar to the troubling Laken Riley case in Georgia. We are determined to act swiftly and efficiently to remove any potential threats from our state and our country, prioritizing the protection of our community.”

President Biden was held responsible for a border crisis that lasted for four years and an increase in immigration.

According to the speaker, the primary focus will be on individuals who have committed crimes. President Trump is expected to prioritize this issue. The failure to secure the border over the past four years is cited as one of the reasons why the American people overwhelmingly supported President Trump. They believe that he will take immediate action to address this problem.

Stitt expressed his belief in enabling immigrants to enter the country through lawful means.

According to the speaker, one area to consider is immigration policy and state-based work visas. The focus should be on supporting individuals who are trying to pursue the American dream and do the right thing. The idea is to connect employers with employees and shift from education visas to workforce integration. For example, if someone is obtaining an engineering degree from a university, the goal should be to facilitate their entry into the workforce.

“But let’s begin with the illegal activity.”

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D) has made the decision to refrain from utilizing state police resources for the purpose of mass deportations. On the other hand, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D) has expressed her willingness to assist President Trump, with the caveat that she will not stand for any actions that may cause fear or distress within local communities.

Trump has stated that he is determined to carry out the most extensive deportation effort in American history on the first day of his presidency, regardless of the expenses involved.

On his first day in office, President Trump could easily reinstate his policies of “remain in Mexico” through an executive order. By doing so, he would simply be instructing our Border Patrol to fulfill their duties. It is important to note that it is already a federal law that entering our country from Mexico is only permitted through a legal port of entry, as highlighted by Stitt.
