Authorities in Houston have reported that a traffic stop led to the arrest of Diablo Barnes, a convicted felon with outstanding warrants.
On February 17, 2025, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office stopped a vehicle in the 6600 block of N Sam Houston Tollway W.
The driver, Barnes, was identified and found to have an open probation violation warrant for felony evading from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, Barnes had an out-of-state probation violation warrant for theft from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama.
Constable Mark Herman announced that Barnes has been arrested and is currently being held at the Harris County Jail for his outstanding warrants. As of now, there is no information available regarding his bond or court dates.
