A man and woman from Pearl River County have been taken into custody for child abuse.
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department executed an arrest warrant and search warrants on January 29th, 2025 at the residence of the two suspects, as stated in a press release. The Criminal Investigation and Narcotics Divisions were responsible for carrying out the operation.
When officers arrived to the home, they arrested Olivia Grace Dixon, 26, and Randall Wayne “Sonny” Burge, Jr., 26, on warrants for criminal child abuse.
Burge and Dixon were discovered to have a significant quantity of a controlled substance in their possession during this investigation.
The authorities transported both suspects to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility, where they faced charges of felony child abuse and possession of a significant quantity of methamphetamine.
