A teen girl died after being shot in the head outside a high school in the Bronx on Monday evening, and authorities are continuing to search for the gunman.
The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. near Bronx Career and College Preparatory High School, which is located at Home Street and Tinton Avenue in the Morrisania section.
After being shot in the head, doctors took the 16-year-old to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where she died.
A search for the shooter is currently underway.
