LOUIS, Mo. – A woman was arrested Thursday after a series of shootings and a police chase.
The St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office charged 32-year-old Terricca T. Miller with three counts of unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault, and aggravated fleeing a stop. She is currently held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $200,000 bond.
According to a probable cause statement from the North County Police Cooperative, Miller was at a friend’s house on Avondale Avenue in Velda Village Hills in the early hours of Nov. 20. Police reported that the friend refused to let Miller inside. In response, Miller returned to her vehicle, fired a pistol into the air, then shot into the home and a nearby vehicle.
Eight days later, on Nov. 28, Miller was gambling at a gas station in Pine Lawn while carrying an AR-15 rifle. Police said an unknown person stole the AR-15, prompting Miller to chase after them, but she lost sight of the thief. Frustrated, she confronted the gas station clerk for not intervening, then went to her car, retrieved a pistol, and assaulted the clerk while threatening to kill him. The incident was captured on surveillance video.
Later that same day, Miller returned to the gas station with her boyfriend. Another shooting occurred, but police did not specify whether it caused any injuries or property damage.
Miller then fled the scene in a blue pickup truck with several passengers. Police pursued her for 45 minutes, including into St. Louis City, reaching speeds over 100 mph and nearly colliding with other vehicles. Eventually, the truck stalled, and Miller was arrested.
Authorities say additional charges are pending against Miller. Anyone with information is urged to contact the North County Police Cooperative’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations at (314) 499-6093.
