Police Investigate Death of Man Found on Seawall Boulevard

GALVESTON, Texas — The Galveston Police Department is investigating the death of a man discovered with apparent head injuries early Sunday morning along Seawall Boulevard. Officers responded to the 2700 block near the 27th Street intersection around 1:40 a.m., where they found the unconscious man.

The victim was transported by Galveston EMS to the UTMB Galveston emergency room but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, police confirmed. The exact cause of his injuries remains under investigation.

Authorities are urging the public to assist in the investigation. They are requesting any video surveillance, dashcam- footage, or relevant information.
