A Mechanicsburg man has been arrested in connection with multiple Facebook Marketplace thefts.

Warren Holloway Jr., 22, was arrested and charged with theft on Tuesday following an Upper Allen Township police investigation.

In February 2024, authorities attended to the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle, where a victim stated that they had planned to sell items via Facebook Marketplace to a person ultimately identified as Holloway.

When they met, the victim stated that Holloway stole the item and departed without paying.

Upper Allen Township police received allegations of a similar incident in April.

Investigators discovered that Holloway was reportedly responsible for creating the suspicious Facebook account and stealing the victims’ belongings.

After a warrant was issued for his arrest, he was discovered in Maryland, according to authorities. He was hauled back to Cumberland County and is now awaiting a preliminary hearing.
