A 22-year-old man is facing multiple felonies after an alleged disturbing encounter with a young girl in Harrisburg.
According to Susquehanna Township Police, Abdoulaye Gueye approached a 12-year-old girl while she was strolling around Harrisburg and complimented her beauty.
According to reports, the adolescent reacted to Gueye by confirming her age.
According to officials, Gueye then arranged for an Uber for himself and the minor, which brought them to a Days Inn on North Front Street.
When they arrived, Gueye allegedly paid for a room before leaving to acquire some food and marijuana.
Officers reported that the girl then washed and fell asleep in the room.
When she awoke, the 12-year-old noticed Gueye laying next to her, “aggressively” touching her.
Gueye subsequently faces accusations of sexually assaulting the juvenile.
Due to the incident, Gueye is currently imprisoned at the Dauphin County Prison on the following charges:
- Rape of a child
- Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with child
- Unlawful contact with a minor
- Luring a child into a motor vehicle
- Indecent assault
- Corruption of minors
The court has scheduled his next appearance for May 22.
