The NYPD is actively looking for a man who committed the act of forcefully kissing a 25-year-old woman on a subway train in the West Village a few weeks ago.
At around 4:50 p.m. on Monday, January 13, the survivor found themselves sitting on a southbound 2 train near the 14th Street-7th Avenue subway station when they were approached by the suspect.
According to the police, he kissed her forcefully before quickly escaping in an undisclosed direction.
Fortunately, the woman emerged from the attack without any physical harm.
The police have released surveillance images of the man suspected of the crime. In the pictures, he can be seen wearing a gray knit cap, a beige and brown jacket over a green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and light sneakers.
