A 16-year-old was arrested early Sunday morning following a barricade incident in Northeast Philadelphia.
What we know: Around 3:45 a.m., officers arrived at the 300 block of Waterview Lane after receiving reports of a person brandishing a firearm.
Authorities say a juvenile boy threatened his mother with a gun before barricading himself inside their home.
SWAT officers cleared the home roughly an hour after the barricade was announced.
The 16-year-old was brought into custody.
No injuries were recorded.
What we don’t know: Police have yet to provide additional information or announce any charges in relation to the incident.
