A teenager was shot dead on a Bronx street early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a complaint of shots fired about 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Tremont and Park Avenues in the borough’s Tremont district.
When they arrived, they saw Juan J. Pena of Monroe Avenue lying on the ground with many gunshot wounds to his torso.
Pena died after EMS took him to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Police are still investigating the shooting and had not made any arrests as of Sunday afternoon.
