The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) has charged 24-year-old Keyondre Joyner and 18-year-old Jamiel Collins with the murder of 20-year-old Tyler Fludd.

Fludd was discovered in the 5400 block of Silver Hill Road at approximately 5:20 p.m. on February 2. According to authorities, Fludd was found outside, lying on the ground, and had sustained a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation

According to the police, it has been determined from the initial investigation that Collins and Fludd were acquainted with each other. The authorities state that Collins and Joyner had planned to rob Fludd, and it was Joyner who shot Fludd during the course of the robbery.

Joyner and Collins have been charged with first-degree murder and other related offenses. Currently, they are both in the custody of the Department of Corrections and are being held without bond.
