A trip to a Massachusetts gas station turned out to be quite profitable, as it resulted in a large state lottery win.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Pyrrhic Funding Trust of Chelmsford won a $4 million jackpot in the “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” $10 quick ticket game.
The trust, represented by trustee Susan Atlas, chose to receive its prize in the form of a single payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes).
The winning ticket was purchased at Gulf, 328 Montvale Ave., Woburn. The retailer receives a $40,000 incentive for selling this ticket.
$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks has one $4,000,000 and one $1,000,000 reward left.
