Starting in January, New Jersey will start accepting applications for the state’s rent assistance program. This program offers housing subsidies to low-income residents who are in need.

After the application period ends, the lottery will commence to select the fortunate households that will join the waitlist for the State Rental Assistance Program. A total of 6,000 households will be chosen for this opportunity.
