On January 22, Columbia police officers were involved in a foot chase that led to the capture of a suspect wanted for robbery in Texas.
The incident started when cops noticed a man wearing a ski mask near Tanglewood Drive and Bennett Street. After a brief chase, officers caught Petcorrous McClendon.
Further investigation revealed that Collin County, Texas, is seeking McClendon for robbery.
The Columbia Police Department has not disclosed any additional information regarding the crime or McClendon’s extradition status. We are still investigating the case.
