A social media creator, who was arrested in Charles County last Friday, has been arrested again today in St. Mary’s County on similar charges.

Joshua Christian-Stanley Jackson, who was previously charged with setting fire to a vacant commercial property and making a false 911 call in Charles County, has been arrested once again. This time, he is being connected to a new arson case and false 911 call in St. Mary’s County. Jackson had been released from the Charles County Detention Center on Monday but was placed under home detention.

Jackson was apprehended earlier today without any trouble and conveyed to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He is now confronted with a series of charges including second-degree arson, second-degree malicious burning, malicious destruction of property, and making a false 911 call.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal investigators have concluded that Jackson set fire to a vacant home on Maddox Road in Chaptico on February 14, 2025, shortly before 11:00 p.m. It was discovered that Jackson had actually reported the incident.

Furthermore, apart from the charges related to arson, it was discovered that Jackson had placed a false 911 call to report a car accident on Three Notch Road in Hollywood towards the end of last year. This call was proven to be baseless. Jackson had made the false report with the intention of capturing footage of emergency responders at the scene. Subsequently, he profited from this footage by sharing it on various social media platforms.

Deputy State Fire Marshals are currently reviewing additional fire incidents and several false 911 calls within Calvert County as part of an ongoing investigation. It is possible that additional charges may be filed in relation to these incidents.
