A suspect has been taken into custody on drug and weapon charges after a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Woodland Park Drive, as reported by Harris County Constable Precinct 5.
The person attempted to flee while handcuffed but was quickly arrested.
The suspect tried to escape while being handcuffed, but was apprehended promptly. Throughout the incident, the individual dropped two crack cocaine rocks, and a gun was found in the glove box of the vehicle, along with a loaded magazine on the passenger seat.
According to the source, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office has approved charges for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and unlawful carry of a weapon.
