A suspect is charged with second-degree murder after a gunshot victim died in the hospital on Saturday, May 10.
Oklahoma City Police were called to a hospital on Friday, May 9, at about 1:15 a.m., after the victim, 21-year-old Audrey Elizondo, arrived in her personal vehicle.
Investigators learned Elizondo was shot by the suspect while inside a car near Northwest 10th and May Avenue.
According to authorities, the suspect, 24-year-old Tymaine Reed, was holding a pistol inside the vehicle when the gun went off and struck Elizondo.
Reed was initially charged with domestic violence and battery with a deadly weapon, which were later changed to second-degree murder.
