Law enforcement officials in Florida have successfully apprehended the suspect involved in a capital murder case in Corinth.
Rashawn Hawkins was apprehended in Vero Beach by U.S. Marshals and the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, as announced by Corinth Police Chief Landon Tucker (as reported by WTVA).
Vero Beach, situated southeast of Orlando, is currently the location where the arrest of Hawkins took place. While the specifics of his arrest have not been revealed, Chief Tucker expressed his intention to promptly transfer Hawkins back to Mississippi.
Police were actively searching for Hawkins in connection with the tragic shooting of Patrick Patterson, a 24-year-old who lost his life on January 15th, 2025. Prior to this, law enforcement had already apprehended three other suspects involved in the case.
