A 33-year-old woman, Mallori Patrice Strait, was arrested in San Antonio, Texas, after allegedly discarding a fetus in a Whataburger bathroom toilet. The incident occurred on Thursday, December 20, 2024, when Strait entered the fast-food restaurant around noon and sat in the lobby for several hours before going into the bathroom around 2 p.m.

During her time in the restroom, Strait reportedly made alarming noises, prompting the restaurant manager to check on her multiple times and offer water. Concerned for her well-being, the manager called the police, who arrived to find the fetus—a girl—discarded in the toilet. Strait and the newborn were rushed to a nearby hospital, where the baby was pronounced dead.

Strait was arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse. The case is under investigation by local authorities.
