The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has reported the arrest of Anderson Ronaldo Reyes Giron, a fugitive on the state’s 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List, in Austin. DPS Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol Troopers, and Austin Police Department officers apprehended Reyes Giron, 25, of Honduras, on April 2.
According to DPS, Reyes Giron has been wanted in Travis County since February 2025 for lethal behavior involving the discharge of a firearm and in Williamson County since March 2025 for theft of goods. He was previously arrested by US Customs and Border Protection in January 2017 for alien removal and by the Austin Police Department in August 2024 for deadly conduct before being released on bond.
Reyes Giron’s arrest will not result in a Crime Stoppers reward, as indicated by the DPS. Texas Crime Stoppers, which is financed by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, pays cash prizes for information that leads to the arrest of anyone on Texas’ top ten most wanted lists. In 2025, 19 fugitives were captured, including five sex offenders and six criminal illegal immigrants, with a $22,000 prize for leads.
Individuals can contribute tips by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline, submitting a web tip via the DPS website, or clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link on Facebook. The Department of Public Safety cautions against attempting to catch these fugitives since they are armed and dangerous.
