The tragic incident occurred on December 13, 2024, when Faridah Davis, a 45-year-old woman, was shot and killed. This information was sourced from the Houston Police Department.

Two teenagers, aged 16, have been taken into custody and are facing charges of murder and aggravated assault following a fatal shooting in northeast Houston. The incident occurred on December 13, shortly before 6 p.m.

A tragic incident occurred when 45-year-old Faridah Davis was fatally shot while she was out with her husband that evening, according to the police.

When the police arrived at a convenience store located at 4718 Lockwood Drive, they discovered Davis in an unresponsive state, seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Davis was immediately transported to the hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.

Detectives discovered that Davis had driven to the store accompanied by her husband in the passenger seat. While her husband went inside the store, an employee approached him and requested him to leave the premises. Upon his return to the vehicle, shots were suddenly fired into their car as they were exiting the parking lot.

Both shooters fled the scene.

Fortunately, the husband and two other family members who were riding in the backseat of the vehicle escaped unharmed. On December 14, surveillance photos of the two shooters were made public.

The investigation revealed the identities of the teenagers involved.

The authorities apprehended one individual on December 16th, while the other person was taken into custody on December 18th.

Both accused shooters, who are 16 years old, are facing charges. However, their names have not been disclosed to the public.

After being accused of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, they have been placed in custody at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
