On Friday in Southern California, a teenager wanted for homicide in Iowa was shot by U.S. Marshals.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 1440 block of N. State College Boulevard in Anaheim, which is located south of California State University, Fullerton. According to U.S. Marshals, they engaged in gunfire with 18-year-old suspect Victor Antonio Delgadillo after making contact with him near a Motel 6.

Delgadillo was taken to the hospital along with one other person by paramedics. At the moment, there is no information available regarding Delgadillo’s condition.

The Marshals were unable to gather any information about the second individual who was injured in the shooting, apart from the fact that they were not a law enforcement officer.

The investigation into the shooting will be undertaken by the Anaheim Police Department. According to the U.S. Marshals, Delgadillo was being sought for a homicide that had taken place in Marshall County, Iowa.

As per the report by the Des Moines CBS affiliate, it is alleged that Delgadillo shot and killed a 41-year-old man outside a bar on June 1st.

He was deemed armed and dangerous by law enforcement.
