Police in New York are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect who is wanted in connection with a robbery and assault near the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.
On Sunday, February 9, 2025, around 10:50 a.m., a verbal dispute took place between a 39-year-old man and an unidentified individual on a bus. Following the altercation, the suspect proceeded to tail the victim to the intersection of Grand Concourse and East 161st Street. There, he viciously assaulted the victim with multiple punches to the face, resulting in his subsequent fall and the scattering of his belongings.
After taking the victim’s belongings, the suspect quickly fled towards the northbound direction on the Grand Concourse. The victim received immediate medical attention from EMS at the scene.
The suspect is described by the police as a slim-built male with a dark complexion. He was last spotted dressed in a black coat and black clothing.
