On Saturday, authorities arrested a Rogersville woman in connection with the death of a man.
Mary O’Banion is facing second-degree involuntary manslaughter charges.
According to investigators, Mary O’Banion and the victim argued. O’Banion claimed she hit the victim after he choked her. According to investigators, O’Banion grabbed the victim’s gun. The gun went off as the victim grasped her hand.
The man died from a gunshot wound to his head.
