A woman was discovered shot to death at her home in Prince George’s County.
Police say they received a report around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon concerning the discovery of a woman who had died from several gunshot wounds inside her residence.
However, a neighbor told FOX 5’s David Kaplan that he believes the incident occurred overnight. The neighbor goes on to add that he heard many gunshots overnight Friday and Saturday morning.
The neighbor across the street informed Kaplan that they did not hear any gunshots Saturday afternoon, leading them to suspect the woman was shot as a result of the shooting they heard overnight.
Police have not yet identified any suspects. The timing of the shooting is still unclear.
The woman’s identity has not been revealed at this time.
