Atlanta police have made another arrest in connection with the murder of a woman in northwest Atlanta last month. The second suspect has been taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation.

According to the Atlanta police, Ne’Jah Cox, a 21-year-old, was fatally shot while driving outside an Atlanta apartment complex on Center Street at around 2 a.m. on May 18th.

According to Channel 2′s Bryan Mims, Cox was present in the car as a passenger while the shooting occurred, with her toddler seated in the back.

Atlanta police took 19-year-old Cartez Harvey into custody on Thursday for his alleged involvement in the death of Cox.

The authorities pressed serious charges against Harvey, including murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a felony, and cruelty to children in the second degree.

In connection to Cox’s death, officers apprehended 23-year-old Jamal Baker last month.

After being taken into custody, Baker was transported and booked into the Fulton County Jail. The charges against him include murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and cruelty to children in the second degree.
