A fight between seven women turned into a shootout at the Aronoff Center in downtown Cincinnati early Monday morning, injuring two women.

According to Cincinnati police, the altercation started at a nearby pub and moved to the corner of Walnut Street and East 7th Street at 2:45 a.m.

During the fight, one person pulled out a gun and started shooting. Another individual also had a weapon and returned fire.

A 29-year-old woman was shot in the thigh and had a shrapnel wound to her shoulder.

She was taken to UC Hospital and is said to be in stable condition. A kick to the head necessitated medical attention for another woman.

No arrests have been made, but police are looking through video footage from many adjacent cameras to identify the suspects. The cause of the fight is still under investigation.
