Two suspected shoplifters were apprehended after multiple thefts at Target’s Rolling Acres Plaza in The Villages.

Liya Schreiber, 19, of Parkland, and Skylar Scione, 20, of Londberry, N.H., were arrested at 6:30 p.m. on Memorial Day after being held by the store’s loss prevention officer, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The loss prevention worker told police that the couple had been to the store several times in the preceding several days and took products such as men’s cologne, women’s perfume, socks, and a bra. They had evaded capture in prior visits. Some of their behaviors were recorded on the store’s security system.

Both were arrested for theft and brought into the Lake County Jail. Schreiber was released after paying a $1,000 bond. Scione was released on her recognizance.
