Three people have been charged with the fatal shooting of a man at 9700 Leawood Boulevard on February 19. Terry Meza Jr., 34, was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased at a hospital.
Ubong Esiere, 34, has been charged with murder in the 486th State District Court but remains at large, according to a Houston Police Department press release. Tracy Burleson, 32, has also been charged with murder in the 179th State District Court and was detained on February 27. Mackenly Nohemy Palomo Medina, 23, is charged with burglary in the 232nd State District Court and was apprehended on February 25.
The HPD Homicide Division claimed that officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex and discovered Meza Jr. had been shot. Houston Fire Department paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
