In the late hours of June 12, police officers were dispatched to East 55th Street and 71 Highway in response to a report of an individual carrying a weapon.
As they were heading towards their destination, the authorities received numerous 911 calls reporting a shooting incident at a gas station in the vicinity of East 55th and Prospect Avenue.
Initial findings suggest that a dispute occurred among individuals, resulting in gunfire.
The authorities have not yet identified any suspects in the case.
The team of homicide detectives and crime scene investigators have diligently gathered crucial evidence and taken statements from witnesses.
