The Houston County Sheriff’s Office announced that the body of Patrick White Sr., a missing man from Crockett, was discovered in southern Henderson County on Saturday.

Patrick White Sr., 53, was reported missing on June 5, with his last known contact on June 2. His body was found on Saturday, June 15, at 8:44 p.m. in southern Henderson County.

Houston County Sheriff’s Office officers, along with Henderson County officials, were present at the scene. White’s body was sent for an autopsy, which has already taken place, attended by members of the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Rangers.

On Thursday, June 13, Deshayon Maurice Knight was arrested for capital murder in connection with White’s death after evidence was found in White’s pick-up truck.

The investigation into White’s death is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact local law enforcement or the Houston County Sheriff’s Office at 936-544-2862.

“Please join with our office as we continue to pray for White’s family.”
