A pair of men from Las Vegas have been charged with trafficking drugs from California and Nevada to Alaska for distribution.
The DOJ charged seven people, including them.
According to the DOJ, Helmut Mey, 37, of Las Vegas, and Johnathan Lau-Osana, 37, of Las Vegas, conspired to distribute and possess fentanyl in Alaska beginning in September 2024 and continuing until March 2025.
Mey has been charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess banned narcotics, as well as one count of attempted possession with intent to distribute. Meanwhile, Lau-Osana faces one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute prohibited drugs.
Both face ten years to life in prison.
