According to officials, a woman in Ohio was apprehended for claiming that she had purchased cocaine at a music festival in West Virginia.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was conducted on State Route 7 in Clarington due to a traffic violation.

While making a stop, the authorities were able to recognize the driver as Gwen Hunt, hailing from Pittsburgh, Pa.

Upon receiving consent, authorities conducted a thorough search of the vehicle and uncovered two glass containers that held a white powder, as well as a small square piece of parchment paper and a grey pill.

According to the deputies, Hunt admitted to purchasing a white substance that she believed to be cocaine at the Back Home Festival in New Martinsville, West Virginia.

Deputies reported that the strip of parchment paper was found to be acidic and the gray pill was identified as molly (MDMA), as per the advice given by her.

Upon his arrest, Hunt was charged with Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments as well as Possession of Drugs on three separate occasions. He was subsequently taken to the Monroe County Jail to face these charges.
