According to the police, a man was stabbed on Tuesday night in East New York and is now fighting for his life.
The NYPD reported that at approximately 10:30 pm on Hegeman Avenue, near the junction with Pennsylvania Avenue, officers found a 58-year-old man who was unresponsive and unconscious.
According to the police, the victim sustained a critical injury after being stabbed in the right bicep and was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention.
As of now, law enforcement officials have not made any arrests in relation to the case. The suspect responsible for the incident is currently evading capture.
