A violent altercation erupted on a Chicago Transit Authority platform, resulting in one person being injured and another being taken into custody.
On Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., an incident occurred in the 300 block of S. Dearborn Street.
Chicago police reported that a physical altercation broke out between a 22-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man during an argument on a CTA Blue Line platform.
CPD reported that the man was taken into custody while the woman declined medical treatment.
The authorities successfully retrieved the weapon, and the charges against the suspect are yet to be finalized.
