According to the police, a young woman was fatally stabbed by another young woman during a confrontation in Canarsie, Brooklyn on Wednesday.
At approximately 11:45 a.m., the incident took place on Seaview Avenue’s 9700 block.
Officers reported that a broken bottle may have been used to stab an 18-year-old in the armpit.
After the incident, the victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital. Unfortunately, the medical staff declared her dead upon arrival.
Police have taken another girl into custody who is believed to be of the same general age as the suspect.
