During Tuesday’s winter storm, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that two babies were discovered on a sidewalk, accompanied by their intoxicated mother.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) was alerted to a distressing situation via a 911 call. The caller reported that they had witnessed a woman along with her two babies lying on the sidewalk at 12062 Veterans Memorial Drive.

Deputies were called to the scene and discovered that there were two babies, one who was a year old and the other who was only two months old. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) promptly arrived and provided immediate care to the infants, who were experiencing injuries caused by exposure to the cold.

According to reports, the mother displayed signs of being intoxicated.

We do not have any additional information at this time. Our team is actively working to gather more details and will provide updates as soon as they become available.
