CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A woman was killed and two others were injured in an overnight crash in St. Charles County, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
According to MSHP, a 62-year-old woman from Wentzville, Missouri, died in the crash. A 69-year-old man in the same vehicle and a 41-year-old man in a separate vehicle were also hospitalized.
The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Veterans Memorial Parkway near Lake St. Louis Boulevard.
The MSHP crash report indicates that the man driving the vehicle with the woman made a left turn from a private drive into the path of another vehicle, causing a collision. Both vehicles left the roadway after impact.
The woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
MSHP Troop C, which covers much of the St. Louis area, is investigating the crash.
