Akron police are currently on the lookout for a group of women who were involved in shoplifting from four different dollar stores situated in Summit and Stark Counties earlier this month.

The Akron police have reported that on July 14, the initial target of the suspects was the Family Dollar located on Cuyahoga Falls Ave, where they carried out their robbery.

According to the police, the manager and an employee tried to stop them as they attempted to leave without paying by grabbing the shopping bags that were loaded up.

According to the authorities, as soon as the bags were opened, their contents were scattered all over the floor. Subsequently, one of the female suspects commenced flinging the items at the manager and even attempted to spit on them.

According to the police report, the suspects were reported to have stolen items from a Family Dollar store in North Canton later that day.

According to the police, they robbed the Family Dollar located in the 900 block of Copley Rd. in Akron on July 18th. Later, they attempted to shoplift from the Dollar Tree situated in the 300 block of E. Waterloo Rd. in Akron, but their plan was foiled by the manager, who intervened. They dropped the items and fled the scene.

According to the police, they hit someone else’s car while attempting to escape.

Police located the suspect’s car later that day at the Dollar General on S. Arlington Street in Akron, where they were caught stealing again.

The driver disregarded the officers’ attempt to pull them over and managed to escape during a chase.
