An AMBER Alert issued Thursday morning has been canceled after the child at the focus of the alert was located safe.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the 10-year-old girl was last seen Wednesday around 4 p.m. on the 500 block of NW Avenue G in Hamlin, just northwest of Abilene. She was found safe Thursday morning.
The infant was thought to have been with Terry Jeter, 43.
