On Friday morning, the Waste Management Center in Cobb County was attended by crews due to a fire.
The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office has recently released dash camera footage of a deputy arriving at the scene of a fire. The video captures the moment when the fire suddenly explodes, causing flames to shoot up higher into the air.
As the fire raged on, County Services Parkway saw a significant reduction in traffic as emergency crews battled the blaze.
Crews were spotted by NewsChopper 2 putting out a fire at a structure located behind the main part of the facility.
It seems like the firefighters have successfully managed to extinguish most of the fire.
It is currently unknown how the fire was initiated or if there were any injuries sustained.
