A Bartow man with multiple current drug warrants from Pinellas County was apprehended Wednesday evening near Winter Haven’s north post office.

Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) took Joshua Poe, 38, into jail without incident. Authorities were looking for Poe in connection with an active warrant charging him with cocaine sales, possession of cocaine, methamphetamine sales, possession of methamphetamine, and fentanyl sales and possession.

According to the PCSO, deputies received reports that Poe was frequently spotted at the Post Office at 1401 1st Street North.

Deputies arrived at the scene at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4th. Upon their arrival, they swiftly located Poe and arrested him.
