Teammates on the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team have developed a strong bond in recent years.
Despite Iowa’s inability to secure a national championship in their two consecutive championship game appearances, they still deserve significant recognition for their achievements.
Particularly noteworthy are Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin, who have both had impressive rookie WNBA seasons.
Throughout their time at Iowa, Gabbie Marshall served as one of Clark and Martin’s closest friends and most supportive teammates.
On Wednesday, Marshall made an Instagram announcement that caught the attention of her two former teammates:

“Dude, this is seriously amazing,” Clark responded in the comments section of Marshall’s post.
“Way to go,” Martin added.
Although Martin may no longer be playing basketball, her two close friends and former WNBA teammates continue to show unwavering support.
