On June 18, the Indiana Fever showed up at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials held at Lucas Oil Stadium, which happens to be situated just a stone’s throw away from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where the Fever usually play.

As soon as they stepped into the stadium, Clark’s teammates dared her to dip her hand in one of the three state-of-the-art pools that were set up for the trials. Without hesitation, she accepted the challenge and plunged her hand into the cool water, feeling the excitement build within her. The transformation of Lucas Oil Stadium to accommodate the pools was impressive, and Clark couldn’t wait to witness the trials in such a unique setting.

At just 22 years old, the rookie made quite an impression. Without hesitation, she left the line and rushed over to touch the water, before quickly rejoining her fellow teammates. Her eagerness and enthusiasm were palpable, and it was clear that she was ready to give it her all.

On Tuesday night, Clark and the Fever are set to witness the finals of the men’s 800-meter freestyle and women’s 100-meter backstroke events.

The dynamic of support shifted in Indiana as the swimmers showed their backing for the Fever team. In a thrilling match against the Chicago Sky, the seven-time gold medalist, Katie Ledecky, who has already qualified for her fourth Olympics this year, sat courtside with her brother.

On June 19, the Clark and the Fever will be hosting the Washington Mystics, but before that, they have a night off.
