A woman has been charged in connection with a shooting that critically injured a man on Saturday afternoon in the South Loop.
Kristin Holmes-Tucker, 32, reportedly shot a 33-year-old male at 4:30 p.m. on the 700 block of South Financial Place, according to Chicago police.
The sufferer was transported to a neighboring hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
Holmes-Tucker was detained on the same block as the incident and charged with aggravated violence and discharge of a firearm.
The police have not revealed the incident’s cause or the number of rounds fired.
Holmes-Tucker’s detention hearing is planned for Monday.
