A young man’s lifeless body was found floating in the Harlem River on Sunday morning, according to police.

The unidentified man, believed to be in his 20s, was discovered just after 9:30 a.m. Authorities had responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious male, spotted face down in the river near East 106th Street.

The NYPD’s Harbor Unit removed the body from the water, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The city Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death.

This discovery came two days after an unidentified woman was found floating in the East River, near East 23rd Street, around 10:50 a.m. Friday.

Her body was initially discovered further uptown on the Upper East Side and had apparently drifted downtown. Her identity remains unknown as the investigation continues.
