The threat of dangerously high temperatures has prompted a weather warning for Sunday.

According to the forecast, the heat index values are expected to rise up to 110 degrees on Sunday afternoon in the Midlands.

On Sunday, the temperature is expected to rise dangerously high in a short period of time.

It is advisable to restrict any physically demanding tasks during the early morning or evening hours. It is also essential to keep yourself hydrated by consuming ample fluids throughout the day. Additionally, it is recommended to wear lightweight and comfortable clothing that allows your skin to breathe freely.

Thunderstorms are expected to become widespread after 2 pm on Sunday due to the arrival of a cold front. These thunderstorms are expected to persist throughout the evening.

South Carolina has been designated a level 1 marginal risk for severe wind gusts by the Storm Prediction Center.

Expect thunderstorms to commence on Sunday around 2 pm and persist through the evening.

On Monday, the thunderstorm threat is expected to be primarily south of I-20 as the front moves in a southward direction.

Following this, there will be a respite from the rain for most individuals from Tuesday until the 4th of July.

Let’s take a moment to enjoy a brief reprieve from the scorching hot weather!

The upcoming Tuesday is expected to bring a refreshing change with lower humidity and pleasant temperatures in the 80s. It will feel like a breath of fresh air, providing a much-needed relief from the scorching heat.

On Monday, temperatures will reach only around 90 degrees, while on Tuesday, they will be in the mid to upper 80s.

The temperatures are expected to rise soon, so it won’t be long before the conditions become hot once again.

Temperatures will soar from the upper 90s on Independence Day to the low 100s on Friday and possibly Saturday.
