The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently conducting an investigation into a fatal accident that occurred in southeast Texas involving a Tesla Cybertruck.
Early Monday morning, a fatal crash occurred in Chambers County when a truck veered off the road, struck a culvert and burst into flames. The driver, whose identity remains unknown due to severe burns, lost their life in the accident. Authorities are currently working on identifying the license plate and ID number of the vehicle involved.
Tesla is being contacted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for further details regarding the accident.
